Results: In this work, researchers used genome editing techniques to display complex N-glycosylation mutants carrying β-1,2-xylosyltransferase and α-1,3-ribosyltransferase genes. An efficient clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR associated protein 9 (CRISPR/cas9) program was established by genetic engineering to avoid off-target mutations. In addition, gene knockdown and expression were confirmed by DNA sequencing and MS analysis.
