We have a variety of gene editing techniques for Chassis construction. The clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/Cas9 system is the basis for this development of tools that provide programmable and site-specific control over mammalian chassis genes. This precise control enables us to construct multilayered gene circuits with higher-order functions in mammalian cells, leading to the efficient production of a wide range of glycoconjugates. In addition to this, we introduce specific carbohydrate-related synthetic pathways into mammalian cells or enhance the production of high-value metabolites such as glycoproteins.

Results: In this study, researchers designed a gene expression system based on artificial transcription factors and developed a system for high antibody production using synthetic biology methods in CHO cells. It can strongly induce high expression of target genes. The system was validated to produce model antibodies (scFv-Fc) in high volume.
